PIAPAC Names Liz Luce Person of the Year
WASHINGTON, April 8, 2003 - Elizabeth B. "Liz" Luce, AAI, ARM, of Cheyenne, Wyoming was named Person of the Year for 2002 by the Professional Insurance Agents Political Action Committee (PIAPAC). Luce was honored for her outstanding service to the political action committee.
The award was presented during the annual PIAPAC fundraising dinner in Washington, D.C. on April 3.
"Every year, the PIAPAC nominating committee has the tough decision of choosing one person who stands above the rest in dedication on behalf of PIAPAC," said PIAPAC Chairman W.N. "Buddy" Oliver of Jackson, Mississippi. "Our winner's dedication and enthusiasm are greatly appreciated by everyone. We are fortunate to have Liz Luce in our PIAPAC family."
Luce is President and owner of the Rocky Mountain Capital Agency of Cheyenne, Wyoming. In addition to her PIAPAC involvement, she serves on the PIA National Board of Directors representing Wyoming and is President of the Board of Directors of PIA Services, Inc. The PIAPAC dinner capped a day of congressional visits by PIA members attending the association's 20th Annual Federal Legislative Summit.
Founded in 1931, PIA is a national trade association that represents member insurance agents and their employees who sell and service all kinds of insurance, but specialize in coverage of automobiles, homes and businesses.
