NFIP Guidance Issued by DHS Following Government Shutdown

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has reissued guidance to National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) Write-Your-Own (WYO) insurance companies, servicing agents and vendors in the wake of the federal government shutdown.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has reissued guidance to National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) Write-Your-Own (WYO) insurance companies, servicing agents and vendors in the wake of the federal government shutdown:

As some of you may already be aware, the National Flood Insurance Program was not reauthorization at 11:59 pm on January 19, 2018.  We are requesting that you begin to implement the guidance issued to you on December 15, 2017, which can be found at the following link:
