Major Announcement From Hartford Flood

Change will provide PIA members in the PIA flood program with a greatly improved experience.

PIA’s flood insurance partner, The Hartford, will be moving to Torrent Technologies as their flood program vendor, effective May 1, 2020. This change will provide PIA members in the PIA flood program with a greatly improved experience. Over the next six months, PIA and The Hartford will provide additional information about the many ways this will improve flood insurance sales in your agency, including a rigorous policy transfer process that promises to help PIA members roll more of their existing flood book into the PIA flood program, with its preferred PIA member commissions.

As part of PIA’s ongoing flood insurance partnership with The Hartford, we are proud to provide PIA members with The Hartford’s monthly flood newsletters and other resources in PIA’s Flood Insurance Marketing Support Center. Downloads include flyers to help your personal lines and commercial lines clients prepare for floods, deal with the aftermath of flooding, and prepare for a visit by an adjuster. The Hartford also provides marketing materials to help your agency market flood insurance.
