NAIC Names 2019 Committee Leaders
The National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) has named its 2019 committee chairs and vice chairs. NAIC President and Maine Insurance Superintendent Eric Cioppa said, “The 2019 NAIC committee leadership reflects deep expertise and a strong commitment to service across all our committees.”
Iowa Insurance Commissioner Doug Ommen was named chair of the Life Insurance and Annuities (A) Committee, and Pennsylvania Insurance Commissioner Jessica Altman was named chair of the Health Insurance and Managed Care (B) Committee. Rhode Island Insurance Superintendent Elizabeth Kelleher Dwyer was named chair of the Property and Casualty Insurance (C) Committee, Missouri Insurance Director Chlora Lindley-Myers was named chair of the Market Regulation and Consumer Affairs (D) Committee.
Florida Insurance Commissioner David Altmaier was named chair of the Financial Condition (E) Committee, and Utah Insurance Commissioner Todd E. Kiser was named chair of the Financial Regulation Standards and Accreditation (F) Committee. In addition, Tennessee Insurance Commissioner Julie Mix McPeak was named chair of the International Insurance Relations (G) Committee.
